Get back up!

20180809_224104.pngAbout a year ago I pulled a back muscle. Anyone who has pulled a muscle or sprained a joint, knows that it feels worse than it is, but its nothing that a muscle relaxer/pain medicine can’t deal with. The worst part of the experience was waiting for the body to heal. I realized during that time, that I am very restless.

I also realized that fear can consume you. I wanted to get back on the mat, but I was afraid I would push myself too far and have to start the healing process over. Eventually I got back to yoga, and the two lessons I learnt were, trust the process and trust your body.

P. S I pulled my muscle while sleeping 😞.
